Following the CrossFit games theme. Here is a recap of the 2012 CrossFit games courtesy of http://games.crossfit.com/about-the-games/history:
More than 69,000 CrossFitters signed up for the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Open — 43,000 more than in 2011. Despite the new competitors, much stayed the same in the 2012 Open. Athletes completed five workouts over five weeks — all of them composed of classic CrossFit movements such as high-rep snatches in 12.2 and a triplet of box jumps, push presses, and toe-to-bars in 12.3. And 2011’s final Open event, a 7-minute couplet of thrusters and chest–to-bar pull-ups again closed the Open in 2012. In the end, 2011 Reebok CrossFit Games champ Rich Froning won on the men’s side, and 2010 champ Kristan Clever led the women.
Great to catch a glimpse into the life of the fittest man on earth. Rich Froning won the 2012 CrossFit games!
